Terms & conditions

Specify whether to show/hide the terms & conditions checkbox during checkout. This is enabled by default, and we suggest keeping it on for legal compliance. You can also set this to be checked by default, but we suggest requiring customers to manually check the box to agree to your terms.

You can also specify whether to display your terms & conditions in a pop up modal on click, or you can enter a URL to direct your customers to an existing terms page on your website.

Opt-in marketing checkbox

Specify whether to show/hide the "Opt-in to marketing" checkbox during checkout. This is enabled by default, and we suggest keeping it on to help grow your marketing list and gain consent from your customers that you can contact them for marketing purposes. You can also set this to be checked by default, but we suggest requiring customers to manually check the box to proactively opt-in.

Collect billing address

Specify whether to collect the billing address during checkout, we suggest keeping this on for security and your own accounting records. This is enabled by default.
The minimum we require during checkout, is the customer email address.

If you're selling digital goods and do not need a shipping address, simply disable the "Does This Product Require Delivery Or Collection?" from within the "Tax & shipping" tab on each product. For products that have this disabled, we will automatically bypass the shipping section during checkout. If a cart contains both digital and physical goods, the shipping stage will be displayed as normal.

Collect contact / telephone number

If you wish to collect a contact / telephone number from your customers, ensure this switch is enabled in your checkout settings page. You can also specify whether the contact / telephone number should be a required field. These are both enabled by default.

Collect company name

If you wish to collect a company name from your customers, ensure this switch is enabled in your checkout settings page. You can also specify whether the contact / telephone number should be a required field. These are both disabled by default.

Show/hide discount code field

If you do not offer discount codes, you should disable the Discount Codes/Coupon field during checkout. This is enabled by default.

You can also specify whether the discount code field should be open or closed by default. (when closed, a text link in the checkout form of "Got a coupon code?" will be displayed, on click, the field will appear for customers to enter their code) This is closed by default.

Show/hide custom notes / requests field

If you wish to collect a custom notes or requests from your customers during checkout, ensure this switch is enabled in your checkout settings page. This is enabled by default.

You can also specify whether the custom notes or requests field should be open or closed by default. This is closed by default.

Checkout order confirmation text

If you would like to display a custom message to your customers once an order is placed, you can enter it here, and it will be displayed in the "Order confirmed" modal after an order is placed.

Minimum order value

If you wish to set a minimum order value, you can do so here. A message in the cart will be displayed, such as "Minimum order amount must be US$50.00" and will be automatically removed once the cart total is above the threshold. Currently, the minimum order value includes the shipping price & taxes too.
